Does anyone have any knowledge of the lactose milk sugar in homeopathic medicines?

I've been vegan 20 years & now am struggling enormously w/menopausal osteoporosis cracking bones (often). I've already had my wrist fracture & my ankle & other areas have been weak.

I've been on bio-identical hormones for about 3 1/2 months to try to help & small amount of calcium/magnesium w/Vit D. Only take about 500/300 with Vit D about 100mg. I've had challenges w/getting too tired w/too much cal/mag.

Also am taking glucosamine w/MSM.

Naturopath wants me to take cal phos (I think this is calcium phosphorus?) cell salts which is a homeopathic medicine in a base of lactose. They (& others previously) try to tell me that there is no dairy in here but may come from dairy - that it's only the milk sugar - that all the dairy is removed.

As I am vegan for ethical reasons, if this is the case, obviously I don't want to support it. However, I believe if I were to try Fosamax or any other regular drug that I suspect all have been animal tested &, who knows, possibly contain animal ingredients.

Does anyone have any knowledge/suggestions on surviving w/this problem & trying to be an ethical vegan?

Thanks very much.
