Subject:	IUD concerns

I just got my IUD 3 weeks ago and just started bleeding very heavy. I called my doctor and he said that my body just has to get use to it. At the same time he said that I shouldn't be having abnormal bleeding or heavy periods. I don;t know what to do. I've been thinking about removing it because to see all that blood is very scary! Did this happen to anyone? Please help me!
