Hi...this might be a weird question, as I don't post very much on these boards, but I thought I'd give it a shot-- I'm pretty overdue for my annual exam and would like to find a good ob/gyn (or just gyn) in the Yolo County, CA area (or whereabouts). I have moved around a lot in the past few years and have yet to establish a good relationship with any doctor. The last gyno I went to rushed me through my exam so fast I felt like a pit stop, and I sensed she was judgemental about the fact that I didn't have kids yet (I'm 32 and have been married for almost 7 years), and when I told her I wasn't "ready" I felt she didn't take me seriously at all. All I want is the "usual" (pap, etc.) exam and a chance to air my women-related health concerns with a non-judgemental but friendly and knowledgeable doctor, preferably female. |
