Do try the bean ones, too, Frances! They are really easy and yummy, too. But they definitely need to be made in a regular waffle maker. Check out mu blog recikpe list for an Orange-pecan version! Also, if you have company, do make some of my "buttermilk" pancake mix, also on my blog. I had omni guests last week, kids and all, and they never suspected they were vegan AND mostly wholegrain! very convenient and quick to whip up the pancakes, too.
