Compelling evidence comes from the work of Dr. Dean Ornish. His research, published in the most prestigious peer-review journals (Lancet, NEJM, JAMA), goes back more than 25 years. His best-selling and inspiring books are well referenced.

About my own 750+ participants, I have only partial follow-up data. Those whom I know of either report they have continued on the program and are doing very well or that they have gradually gone back to their older lifestyle and are not doing well at all.

I'm in my 16th year on the program and can relate that it has been an overwhelming success for me. Each individual will have a different experience, but when angina stops and comparative tests show continued major reversal of blockages, that should tell any person following the program that it works for as long as one is fully compliant.
