I'm stuck in my ways, generally unwilling to try new things - but I'm determined to get my diet compliant with the "reversing heart disease" goal.
Today I took the Soy Milk plunge.
I had been having "Total Raisin Bran" for breakfast lately. I went to the store yesterday and bought a quart of Vanilla "Silk" Soymilk Organic.
I had it this morning on my raisin bran and I survived. It wasn't bad.
I guess I'm wondering what is bad about Skim Milk?
My fat free skim milk:
90 calories
0 calories from fat
0 grams fat
Cholesterol less than 5 mg - 1% Daily Value
Vanilla "Silk" Soymilk Organic:
100 calories
30 calories from fat
3.5 g fat
0.5 g saturated fat
0 g Cholesterol
Did I just buy the wrong soy milk, or is that kind okay?
I have to start reading the labels at the store - not at my table :)
