Ideally, each item would have ten percent of it's calories, or less, from fat. But that isn't practical, so instead one should try to keep the total meal under 10%.
We don't find a need to supplement omega fatty acids (such as flax seed) if one eats a balanced diet of leafy green and root vegetables, whole grains, legumes and fruit.
