Thanks for taking time to answer my question. I am working overtime to learn and understand the reversal diet program, including not just what to eat and what not to eat, but the "why" behind them both. I am still a little confused about the whole "sugar" thing, with regard to this diet. You've taken out some of the mystery for me, but I'm still a bit confused. Bare with me, please! In Dr. Esselstyn's book he points out that too much sugar from eating too much fruit can cause the body to produce cholesterol in response, which I'm trying to reverse in my reversal diet. So, at what point is too much sugar/sweetner too much? What's a reasonable amount to allot per day? And can I eat too much fruit on a reversal diet plan - that is, where it becomes counter productive? Thanks!
